Crafted by VR Design Studio, this 4500+ SFT luxury flat in Banjara Hills is a thoughtful blend of traditional Jaipur architecture and modern design principles. Drawing from the elegance of royal Rajasthan, the home incorporates arches, ornate details, and symmetrical elements—reinterpreted through a clean, contemporary lens. The structure honours heritage while embracing the needs of modern urban living. The walls, finished in a soft, textured white plaster, enhance the space’s serene Mediterranean character. Carefully placed artistic blue ceramic plates and witty signage like “Be strong, I whisper to my coffee…” inject personality and a touch of humor.
Every element in the residence is a celebration of craftsmanship. Doors, ceilings, and walls are meticulously detailed by skilled artisans. A custom dining table with solid wood legs and a resin-coated top anchors the dining space, while handmade pendant lights add warmth and character throughout.
The Puja Room stands out as a spiritual and artistic centrepiece—crafted entirely in natural white stone, flanked by marble columns and crowned with a traditional Gopuram. Structural beam drops, often considered a limitation, have been turned into ceiling art, especially the oval-shaped ceiling highlight in the living room—a true visual masterpiece.
A key strength of the project is its exceptional cross ventilation, ensuring that natural light and air flow freely across the home. This not only enhances comfort but also aligns with sustainable living principles. The thoughtful orientation, material palette, and ventilation come together to create a home that breathes—both aesthetically and functionally.
